I am currently a 5th Year Medical Student at university. I received 3A*s for GCSEs and 3As at A-Level for the above subjects. Throughout university, I am also a tutor for fellow medical students. I run group lectures and seminars for students in years 1 to 6. During the 2020 lockdown, I engaged in tutoring students of various levels and backgrounds via online platforms.

As a student who appreciates various learning and teaching styles, I understand the importance of finding the perfect approach for all my students. I aim to discover each student's preferred style within the first session and tailor resources and teaching plans accordingly. Utilising various resources is important for me to creating learning opportunities that both challenge the student and improves their learning curve.

My lesson plans are always tailored towards the needs of my students. Classes will be structured and based on the exam board syllabus. Theoretical understanding of course content will be covered initially, followed by attempting exam board questions for each topic. This will aid students to acquire exam skills and familiarise themselves with what is expected within the mark schemes. Each session will be followed by further exercises and materials to review for the next session.

I have taught students studying for various exam boards such as OCR and AQA. This has enabled me to adapt my teaching by assessing and familiarising myself with the appropriate syllabuses swiftly. I am also confident to tutor WJEC GCSE Biology.

My students have been able to build their confidence and tackle exam questions to a high standard. They have successfully achieved 9/8/7 grades in their subjects.
