Lina F

Current 5th year medical student at Cambridge University; my expertise lies in the the sciences, especially Chemistry and Biology. 2.1 BA degree in Natural Sciences, specialising in Psychology. For A-Level, I successfully achieved the following grades: Chemistry - A* Physics - A* Biology - A Maths -

I have tutored Chemistry and Biology for more than two years, especially with experience in the AQA, Edexcel and OCR exam boards. I specialise in GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level, having studied Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths A-Levels. My style of tutoring is catered to the individual needs of each student, yet focuses on the curriculum of each subject in order to gain both knowledge and exam technique, resulting in excelling in assessments.

The first lesson will have an informal assessment of the level of understanding of the student to further understand how to structure future lessons. Further lessons will begin with a short quiz to recap on the previous lesson's content, followed by going through new content and ending with an exam question. Finally, a homework task will be given weekly to consolidate the lesson's content.

I am experienced with the AQA, Edexcel and OCR exam boards from both student and tutor perspectives, therefore am familiar with the types of answers that the exam boards look for in mark schemes.

I have previously gotten students from an E grade in AQA A Level Chemistry to getting A grades in assessments.
