Hello, I'm a current student at Oxford University where I study Medicine. I tutor Science, primarily Biology and Chemistry
I have around 350 hours of tutoring experience. This is in teaching all three sciences to GCSE and in teaching Biology and Chemistry to A-level standard. I also do interview preparation for university applicants. My background is in Biochemistry which I studied as an undergraduate at Oxford and I have helped with applications to university for this subject and Medicine in the past. After my undergraduate degree I worked for a few years, including tutoring full-time, before returning to Oxford to study medicine as a graduate. I am currently 3 years through the course.
I have taught students aged 8 to 18 from a wide variety of backgrounds. I am happy to adapt my teaching style to help you do your best. I have some 350 hours of experience teaching Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths to GCSE and Biology and Chemistry to A-level.
I have previously worked as an educational consultant in a role designing critical thinking lessons for children aged 8 to 15. And, naturally, I do plan all my tutorials too!
I have previously helped three students gain admission to Oxford as their university of choice, two applying for Biochemistry and one for Medicine. This, so far, represents a 100% success rate!
