KS3, GCSE and A level Maths, Further Maths and Physics, as well as A level Economics and Business tutor, with 22 years teaching experience, currently teaching in school. Masters in Business Administration, Petroleum Engineering and Renewable Energy Development.
I have 22 years of teaching experience in secondary schools and colleges in the UK, Canada, and UAE (Dubai). Being a petroleum engineer, I am a great problem solver and I have trained students to have great exam techniques using mnemonics making the knowledge relatable with real-life applications, simulation, dramatization, and creating scenarios.
I have many years of tutoring students ranging from primary school to pre-university students. I differentiate, scaffold tasks, and use direct discovery methods to challenge students.
I plan my lessons by adapting my PowerPoint to my teachings, setting tasks, discussing the answers, and allowing the students to reflect on what went well and what went wrong. I teach students to become reflective learners.
I am confident with AQA, Edexcel Pearsons, WJEC, and OCR. I have taught students and clients with these exam boards.
