I have years of GCSE/ KS3 science tutoring experience in person in London and Birmingham. I also have 6 months experience as a teaching assistant. I have mentoring experience whereby I supervised younger medical students at UCL.
The way I plan lessons is by understanding that each student is unique in their learning needs. I assess during the first lesson with past papers. This is to see what stage the student is at, their strengths and weaknesses and how I can help them achieve optimum grades. I would then use techniques such as consolidation of knowledge to empower students to pass their exams.
