Hi, I'm Sania and I can tutor up to GCSE in Maths and up to A-level in Physics. I started tutoring last year and I really enjoy helping people understand tricky concepts and sharing the fun of physics and maths with new students. I graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2020 with a First Class Masters in Physics.

I have tutored 2 students in the past in varying levels for maths and physics as well as having done a lot of school and public outreach work whilst at university. The outreach was aimed at engaging young students and getting them excited about physics through fun activities and demonstration. My previous tutees have been working towards A-Level exams and I have helped them with understanding the material as well as with general exam study techniques.

I will first ask you what areas of Maths/Physics you are struggling with then we will come up with a study plan together that tackles these problem areas and set a rough timeline for completion. In lessons we will go through the theory of a topic and I will go through example problems and ask you questions to test your understanding. I will then assign some homework, not too much as I am aware schools also set a lot of work for students but it is important to practise throughout the week and not just in our lesson time in order to gain the best understanding. We will go through any difficulties or questions you may have had in your homework at the start of the next lesson.

One of my tutees recently finished their A-Levels with A grades in both Maths and Physics.
