I have recently graduated at the University of Leeds studying BSc (Hons) Food Science and Nutrition, for which I have gained a 1st for my efforts. I studied and researched subjects such as physiology, anatomy, microbiology as well as diseases like cardiovascular disease and cancer. While studying, I was involved in a scientific publication and I am currently working on my second. While studying in New Zealand, I continued my interest of Psychology and Biology beyond A-Levels. I studied sports nutrition, psychology of physical activity and animal biology. Since graduating, I have began tutoring Psychology and Biology to A-level students which I thoroughly enjoy. In my spare time, I write a blog on current events in nutrition research which helps me to stay in the loop with health news. I have been accepted into the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine to study a Masters in Global Nutrition which will add to my knowledge of biology particuarly epidemiology and public health. Although I recieved a B at A-levels in biology, I have since recieved a 1st in all of my biology modules at university which are listed above. Thus, I am confident I can help those students who wish to achieve an A or A* at A-level.

I adapt my lessons to each student however a normal lesson with me would include teaching, activities like gap fills or matching tasks as well as exam question practice. I try to give you lots of opportunities to test your knowledge so that you know your areas of weakness. I also provide homework, youtube videos and revision tips to support your learning. I am quite flexible though - so if there is something you would like in particular - just drop me a message!
I always follow the exam board specifications and encourage my students to use them too when preparing for the exams. This ensures we are both on the same both page. I will also use mark schemes and examiner reports to help you to improve exam answers.
I have helped numerous students prepare for exams and have seen many students successfully pass them. Most recently, some of my psychology students have recieved 100% for their assessments.
