I have an excellent understanding of the principles of cellular biology and relevant fundamental biological principles and mechanisms as these have formed the core of my studies in biomedical sciences. Other areas of expertise include chemistry and mathematics.

I assisted one of my students in preparing for the GCSE and was successful in guiding her to excel in her mock examinations. I evaluate my students to determine their areas of difficulty and tailor my lessons to address those challenges. I prioritize a student-focused approach to tutoring and aim to make the content as relatable as possible to ensure an enjoyable learning experience. I believe in utilizing imagination and visuals to simplify scientific concepts and reduce stress. My strength lies in my ability to connect with students through a student-centred approach, such as using memorable mnemonic devices to aid in recalling large amounts of information.

Before meeting with my student, I always plan out the session. To start, I ask my student to recap what was covered in the previous session and correct any misunderstandings. At the end of each session, I ask for feedback to ensure my student understood the lesson. Additionally, I occasionally include true or false statements to make sure they are following along with the lesson. This helps me gauge if they are following along or if I need to revisit certain points.
