I am a passionate and patient educator with background in science and teaching experience in UK secondary schools, given to helping students succeed through clear instructions and supportive guidance.
I am a qualified and enthusiastic science teacher with experience teaching in UK schools, including Key Stages 3 and 4. My expertise lies in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and I have the ability to melt down difficult scientific ideas to simple and understandable steps. I am passionate about helping students gain confidence in science, whether they are prepping for exams or needing extra bit of support. My approach is supportive, patient, and narrowed to diverse students' learning needs, not just to pass, but to truly enjoy science.
While I am relatively new to one-on-one tutoring in UK, II have gained valuable teaching experience working with a wide range of students during my teacher training in UK secondary schools. I understand that every student learns differently, so I take time to listen, observe, and adapt my teaching style to match their needs. Students benefits from dual-coding, step-by-step problem solving, or lots of practice questions, I arrange each session to build their confidence and understanding. I believe my patient approach, calm nature, and clear communication puts me in better position to helping students feel supported and motivated. With my classroom experience, I am skilled in explaining difficult topics and checking for real understanding.
I start with short assessment in the first lesson to understand the student's level and needs. I prepare structured lesson plans tailored to their goals, with a mix of explanation, guided practice, and review. I often set light homework to reinforce learning and track progress over time.
My students have shown brilliant progress, both in confidence and academic performance. For example, year 11 I supported struggling with GCSE Physics. After continuous revision using exam questions, they gained confidence, improving their technique in answering questions and achieved an average of grade 6 in their exams.
