Helping student achieve their goals and reach their full potential in their studies is what drives my passion for tutoring . Having recently completed my A levels I am eager to aid other students to secure the top grades in GCSE/A Levels. I understand the process and the challenges that come with sitting exams and can guide children in gaining the confidence before sitting them. I have valuable strategies and insights to share which can make a real difference to a students academic performance.

I have 2 years of experience tutoring 11+ and GCSE students, so I have a good understanding of different methods and approaches to improve a child’s understanding on a topic. I am also particularly aware on how to keep children engaged with topics, having recently completed my A alevels, I know the best ways to study effectively which I can pass on to my students.

Prior to the lesson with the student, I will plan and prepare resources to work through in the lesson. Each lesson will be personalised based on the students needs they need to work on such as exam technique, timing, content, understanding. My lessons can also be used to help consolidate a child’s learning in school so they are confident on a topic or help prepare them for oncoming topics. My main aim is to ensure that each lesson style is best suited for the student to gain maximum benefit.

With GCSE Chemistry and Biology, I am familiar with AQA. With A level Biology and Psychology I am familiar with AQA. With A level Chemistry I am most familiar with OCR A.
