The majority of the last 5 years of my life have been spent studying Maths and Physics, I feel very confident with my knowledge and I would love to share this with others. I am a new tutor, but I love working with younger people and helping people out, so I am very excited to do this in a way that involves my passion and hopefully make these subjects seem like less of a drag!

I am a new tutor, but I'm excited to start tutoring because I want to utilise my skills and knowledge as I know they can be used to help others! I massively understand the importance of the teacher on a students experience and passion for a subject, because of this and the way I feel about my subjects, I think I can make a really positive impact on people.

My lessons will be very tailored to individual needs. Initially and throughout, I will find out if they have specific weaknesses and if so, plan lessons to focus on those. Alternatively if there are less highlighted weaknesses, I will aim to cover the syllabus in detail and focus more throughout on what is proving to be the most difficult areas as well as the related areas. I think it's important to have the correct foundations for new topics and this is something I will prioritise. Also, I will include exam technique as this can often be overlooked and from my past experience is a crucial skill!

I am familiar with the specifications for most exam boards and understand the differences. Each lesson will be planned for the individual so I will be checking the details of each exam board prior to the lessons.

I helped my sister with her A Levels, she often came back to ask for help. Also in school my friend who was struggling to pass used to get me to explain the corrections for her answers regularly.
