I studied Engineering & Design at Brunel University. I have good knowledge of creative design, foreign languages and I am passionate about sports.
While at university I tutored maths to some other students who were stronger in other areas of the degree. I have also tutored some fantastic GCSE students who always achieved at least one grade above their predicted grade!
*Currently offering Skype or FaceTime lessons* Though I completely believe that anyone can do maths, every student is different. Each has their own sense of logic. Often the reason people struggle with maths is because they have holes in their previous knowledge, which leads to further concepts becoming difficult to grasp. The previous knowledge acts as a foundation and without this foundation building new logic becomes impossible. Helping a student to become proficient with maths hinges on these two parts, finding the relevant way to explain the logic and if applicable, identifying and filling the gaps in previous knowledge before pushing on. Each lesson is tailored to the student.
