I am at Warwick University studying Economics with 100hrs+ tutoring experience. Having achieved A*A*A*A*A* in A Level: Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics + EPQ, as well as 10x A**s at GCSE, I offer an in-depth and exceptional insight on the exam system and offer a friendly and bespoke lessons to my students to encourage them to flourish and attain the best grades possible.

I have spent this past summer tutoring both A Level and GCSE to my students and have also worked many hours in the past as a maths mentor for those all the way from year 7 to sixth form, as well as the previous tutoring of friends and family.

When starting with a new student I like to start by going over the basics and testing their knowledge to see where their strengths and weaknesses lie in order to find areas to target first to see rapid progress. I plan the lessons accommodatingly beforehand, answering any questions or difficulties between lessons at the beginning and then usually setting some discretionary homework afterwards that I will mark and go through before the next lesson, as I find this makes the biggest difference in achieving the best grades. I tackle challenging problems methodically and patiently, working through them step by step with examples. In lessons I like to also incorporate exam technique and tricks to boost your mark and to make sure the student can reach the highest grade.

I am familiar with AQA, Edexcel and OCR. When I took my exams I thought very tactically and logically about how the exam board awards marks, so when tutoring I can give tips from personal experience to maximise your marks!

Working as a maths mentor helped student's confidence massively, as I was very attentive to their needs. I've had students see their grade increase from C/Bs to A/A*s
