Hello, thanks for looking. I've been a teacher for 13 years now so I have lots of experience. I like to teach using active approaches to make sure you've understood the material, so lots of card sort games, mini whiteboards, diagrams and PPQ's. If you're GCSE or A Level, I'll be able to help and have taught all the common specifications (OCR, AQA and Edexcel). I also have experience at exam marking, so can really help with exam techniques allowing you to maximise marks from questions. If you're not overly confident at maths that's not a problem, as I have a few basic techniques to help you secure decent marks in this area too - all the more essential given that your papers are now a minimum of 10% for maths skills. I'm happy to teach online to save you some money or if you prefer in person we can agree on a time to visit you. Some of you will be looking to go over difficult topics you struggle with, whilst others are looking for reinforcement and practice on the vast material of the course content. No matter what your preference is, I look forward to hearing from you and helping you achieve that grade.

I enjoy using diagram based discussion lessons which I supplement with multiple activities to make sure you're regularly assessing yourself. Card sorts and other matching activities are a staple of mine!

I've taught AQA, OCR and Edexcel SNAB to GCSE and A Level. In addition I'm an experienced exam marker so am fully familiar with all specifications and their requirements.

My greatest success was helping a student to achieve an A grade to get her 1st choice university. she was working towards a C grade when she first started seeing me.
