Psychology graduate from the University of Sussex and current Data Science Masters student
I am currently studying myself so I know how hard it has been over the past year or so learning online! I know Psychology very well, having studied it for 7 years and this is what I am most confident in teaching. As a current student in Data science, I would also be able to help with GCSE maths.
I am new to tutoring, but I believe I would be a good tutor because of my years of experience in the subject. I would get to know what the student is looking for out of their tutoring experience as well as getting to know what the examiners are looking for in their answers to help them to achieve the best grades they can.
If the student feels comfortable in assessing their own strengths and weaknesses i would spend the first session discussing these in order to know what to work on in future lessons. If not, we can go through some practice questions together, so that I can assess what needs to be worked on.
I have sat AQA psychology at GCSE and A-level and obtained A grades in both, I think I developed a pretty good idea of what they were looking for in answers. Marking schemes can help me to figure this out for other exam boards.
