I have recently received my Masters in Mechanical Engineering from UCL and i am looking for students to help them and motivate them with their studies.
BEng from University of Brighton and MSc from UCL, both in Mechanical Engineering. I am fluent in English and Greek. I know how much i struggled through my life with studies and now i want to help and motivate people as much as possible. A big part of our lifes is 'learning' and this must be fun and enjoyable, with the correct approach.
Used to help other fellow students in my university through one-to-ones and group studies.
First i like getting the material and prepare at my own time, prior the lesson. My way of teaching is by making sense of everything. If i have the material and some examples of the methods required, i can easily find better and simplier ways of solving exercises and making the student confident and comfortable with the subject.
The last success few months ago was a physical education student which wanted help with an applied physics exam in his university. He had the material, the method and the solutions. He could only remember them by hard. If a variable was changing, he couldn't solve them anymore as he didnt really understand what he was doing and why. We had 3h online lessons together and by breaking everything down and by making him understand where everything comes from, he became very confident and happy for everything making sense in his brain. He was able to solve variables of the questions he originally had by ease. The result was Pass! He was really happy and greatful for it as it was his second attempt for this subject.
