I am a second year Accounting and Finance student at Durham University. This is my fourth year tutoring Business Studies and I strive to make the content enjoyable and enriching for my students, whilst also ensuring they are exam ready. I have also been tutoring English, Maths, Science and Spanish for Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 for a number of years. I tailor my teaching style in accordance with the student I tutor. I look forward to aiding you in attaining your academic goals!

I have been tutoring Business Studies for four years, initially tutoring at GCSE level, before finally delving into A Level. I also have been tutoring English, Maths, Science and Spanish at Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 for the past 5 years. I believe each individual is able to reach the goals they have set themselves, however, often they need some guidance.

Each lesson, I aim to ensure that the child is comfortable with the content they have been taught at school. I ask the student to prepare a list of questions to me prior to our lesson, so that we are organised ahead of time and don't waste any valuable lesson time. Where there appears to be gaps in knowledge, I help fill in such gaps and I make sure that the student feels confident with the material. Following this, I will go through some topic questions, to help build their exam technique, before finally setting them some independent work to complete to consolidate our lesson.

I have tutored AQA and Edexcel at GCSE and A Level. I am able to learn more about the other exam boards, as the material is often very similar.

Each one of my students has been successful in attaining their target grade. Two of my GCSE students attained an A* and A respectively, whilst an A Level student attained an A grade. My Key Stage 2 student successfully passed a number of entrance exams for top secondary schools in the UK.
