I’m a recent law graduate with previous tutoring experience. I tutor primary children, S1-S3 and national 4 and 5 students. I am an enthusiastic and outgoing individual.
I am a Scottish law graduate with honours (2020) and completing my Diploma of Professional Legal Practice (2021). I have previous tutoring experience with 3rd year high school students all the way to university first year students. I am also going to teach English in South Korean private schools (July 2021). The way in which I tech students differs from individual to individual. For some they interact better with games and others prefer lecture style classes in which they take notes and relay the notes back to me to ensure they understand the content correctly.
I have 8 months of tutoring experience and have maintained the same clients over this period. I interact regularly with the parent and the child or the individual themselves if they are old enough. I have had nothing but good experiences tutoring and no complaints from any clients. I am dedicated to helping the individuals progress, regardless of their level.
I prepare lesson plans each week and i try to encourage the client to help with lesson plans so the lessons are interactive and interesting as the more a person enjoys something, the better they retain it. I usually do tests for the 5th lesson as a check up. I do allow students to use notes but only the notes they have taken throughout my teaching.
Previous students have became more fluent in formal English and English slang for every day conversation such as my students who speak Cantonese and then another French as first languages as they wanted more focus on conversational English with their peers. My student who is in high school has moved his grades from fails and D's to high B's and A's.
