Ever since the early stage during my GCSE exams, I really enjoyed helping other students strengthen their knowledge as I believe it gave me a new perspective on teaching and my understanding of the subjects. I carried on doing so until the end of my A-Level exams in 2021. I'm comfortable with tutoring GCSE and A-Level subjects, I have a lot of patience, a positive approach as well a student's best interest at heart. I am originally from Poland. I have lived in the UK for nearly half of my life and experienced the majority of the English education system, so am very confident to tutor KS3 GCSE and A level subjects.

I have previously volunteered after school in High School and 6th form to help out the students who needed a confidence boost about their skills and knowledge as well as ensuring they feel prepared for their exams. I also have experience working with younger students and students with learning disabilities in primary school aged 5 to 11, in cases where some of them need more one to one time so that they can proceed with their exams confident and ready.

It's my priority to plan lessons which are personalised to the student's need as I believe it is very important to get to a student for an efficient lesson. I plan to have an introductory meeting with a student so I can plan my lesson accordingly.

Personally, I have a lot of experience with the most common English exam boards being AQA and Edexcel and I am quite aware of the syllabus for both but if there's anything that the student is unsure of I am more than happy to review it.

During my work experience in a primary school, I spent a lot of time teaching a year 2 student who had autism; he was a shy boy who did not like to raise his problem understanding the lessons in front of other students. I felt great being able to motivate him and made sure he was on top of all the work so that he's confident during before entering KS3.
