Hello! My name is Lewis and I am currently a medical student at university
I will adapt my tutoring style to meet the needs of my tutee. This will be done through the initial session where weak points and strong points in their knowledge will be found and this will be the basis for future lessons and discussions. I can also tutor higher human biology.
I am new to tutoring and have decided to take it up as I love explaining things to people to allow them to further their understanding as well as this I am a very passionate person who loves education and would love for people to reach they full potential. I am also very familiar with the current curriculum, National 4, 5 and higher and advanced higher, having been through these courses myself.
During the first lesson I will allow a discussion with the tutee to see if they have any ideas that they would like to try or if not then I will suggest ways that future sessions could be carried out. I will also go through the curriculum and identify areas that the student has to work on, and will work on strengthening those areas in future sessions.
Our team approved Lewis’s profile before it was listed. Before approval, every tutor must add a photo, their experience and lesson plans, qualifications, subjects with rates, and their address and phone number.
Lewis has uploaded a DBS certificate, which we keep on file. You can ask to see it before lessons start.
