UCL student tutoring GCSE and A Level Maths and Computer Studies
Having received tutoring sessions throughout my GCSEs and A-Levels, I understand exactly what the students expect and need from their tutors. I provide a safe environment for students to ask queries and receive very personalised study timetables. I am currently studying Computer Science at , heading for a 1:1 Master's degree.
I have taught Maths and Computer Science in both formal and informal settings. This has allowed me to understand how each student works differently. I always work hard at tailoring my teaching techniques to the student. I also help students make their CVs stand out and guide them through the university application.
The lessons will be 1 hour long and will be followed by homework. At the start of each lesson, I check and work through the homework from the previous session with the student. This ensures that the student is on the right track to their goals. Depending on the requirements of the student, I can dedicate each session to what the student has requested or come up with a complete study plan (for 1 or 2 years).
I have done excellently during both my GCSEs and A-Levels. I achieved this by studying the exam boards' formats, techniques and expectations.
