I am studying a masters in Applied Neuropsychology at the University of Bristol. I graduated with a first class undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Exeter and have a real passion for the subject, as well as tutoring experience and an excellent academic record. I studied Psychology, History and Biology at A Level achieving A*, A* A. and would love to offer help to those that need it!
I have two years experience as an academic tutor for A Level Psychology students , helping several individuals increase their confidence and subject knowledge. I am familiar with the specifications and what is required of a student to reach those top grades. I would focus on topics the student feels they struggle with more and target those. I also think that exam practice is key, whilst also learning to really enjoy and have a natural interest in the subject.
I will personally prepare lesson plans for each session, discussing with the student areas they want to focus on. Much of the session is likely to involve exam practice. I aim to adopt a flexible and student-focused approach, catering to the specific needs of each indvidual.
I have experience with AQA Psychology at A Level.
