English graduate available for tutoring
I am a London based English tutor with a degree from the University of Liverpool in English Language and Literature. I like to help people improve their English literacy and language skills through practising conversational English, accent improvement and general English grammar. I have worked in the television industry in factual and entertainment programming for the past six years, and have experience teaching English as a foreign language in China, Thailand and Turkey. I have also worked in primary schools tutoring primary school age children in English literacy and phonics.
I have experience tutoring English abroad in Turkey, as a full-time tutor at a primary school in London, and teaching English as a foreign language in China and Thailand. I am personable and friendly, with a patient nature and a passion for English language and literature, as well as helping adults and children improve in vocabulary and grammar.
I will take into an account an evaluation of what the student perceives as their areas of weakness and then form my own conclusions regarding what areas need to be worked on and improved. After the first lesson, I will form a structure for our next lesson together to most effectively improve their English skills.
