A highly-experienced Physicist with over twenty-eight years experience teaching undergraduates at university as well as in secondary schools. Available to tutor KS3 and GCSE Maths and Science subjects and A level Physics. Also GCSE and A level German
For the last twenty years, teaching ranged from a Pupil Referral Unit to a school in special measures and very successful grammar schools. Teaching comprised Entry level certificates and Functional Skills, GCSE/IGCSE Physics, Maths, Science and A-level Physics/Maths. Being a native German speaker enables me to support language students of all levels in their journey through the German language.
I am tutoring young people ranging from Primary to secondary school and mature adult learners. Besides teaching at secondary schools I have privately tutored for the last five years.
Teaching for more than 28 years, I have developed my own assessment and teaching skills to allow me to find out within the first session how to tailor the following lessons to the needs and requirements of the individual student.
I have taught almost all common exam boards, i.e. OCR, AQA, Edexcel and Cambridge IGCSE.
All my students were successful in their own achievement, may it be by passing entry level certificates and functional skills or reaching the grade 4 as the required threshold for their GCSE exam or highest academic grades in their triple Science or A-level exams.
