I have recently graduated the University of Exeter with first-class honours in French and Spanish with distinction in spoken French. My favourite part of my degree was delving into a wide range of French and Spanish literature, as well as studying at the Sorbonne during my year abroad.

I'm friendly, enthusiastic and patient. I think the best way to learn languages is to accept the fact that you're going to make mistakes, learn from them and simply relax and have fun. When tutoring I tailor my methods of teaching to the individual to make sure my lessons are valuable and helpful.

I like to use my first lessons to discuss with the student what they would like to take out of my lessons, what they would like to focus on and assess their level. From there, I use the relevant curriculum to help them expand their knowledge of vocabulary, grammar and improve their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.

I have a lot of experience with the AQA exam board as I took my exam with them in summer of 2018. I'm always more than happy to look into different exam boards, using guidance and information supplied online, to make sure that what I'm teaching is relevant and will help my students perform well in their final exam.

So far I have helped both GCSE, A level, as well as more mature students, prepare for exams by practicing exam style questions, expanding their vocabulary and giving helpful tips. I am very excited to take on board more students and help them develop their language skills to their full potential.
