I understand the feeling of excitementt and pride that comes from achievement and success, that is why I would want others to feel this too. I would describe my teaching style as flexible - quickly learning the style of a student and adapting to help them in a way that is better suited to them. After finding out what students are struggling with or need brushing up on I would prepare activities and sessions to ensure they have better understanding and a deeper depth of knowledge of these topics.

I have three younger siblings who I have tutored through their course of GCSEs, mocks and even SATs! All with different styles of learning. I feel as though I would make a great tutor as I am attentive and able to adapt myself to the individual persons needs. Also my dedication and own intrigue means a question will never be left unaswered even if I need to go away and do my own homework and come back to you with an answer. I am also confident and would love to engage with students, not just have rigid formal lessons.

First lessons I would like to get to grips with my student and undertsand the level they are on. Ask them what specifically do they struggle with and even find easy within the subject. Then go from there building on their foundational knowledge. Using exam board examples is a must! Putting all that we have learnt into practice.

I have first hand exeprience with exams. AQA at GCSE English Language and Literature. I undertand the mark schemes of exam boards and what they are looking for from students. Experienced texts: A Christmas Carol Macbeth An Inspector Calls Power and Conflict Unseen Poetry

ALL PASSES!! Very happy achievers.
