Fully qualified Mathematics Teacher, teaching for over 2 years. I focus mainly on A-level mathematics and further mathematics but happy to help out with GCSE too!
Hi, I'm Lance and I'm currently undertaking a MSc in Financial Mathematics at King's College London. When tutoring I try and build on the fundamentals as much as possible to allow students to use a more problem solving mindset rather than wrote learning. I tend to work most with students who are trying to extend in to the higher grades and are struggling with more complicated and abstract concepts. But obviously am happy to help get you their in the first place too!
I've successfully tutored many students in GCSE and A level mathematics/statistics and have been regularly tutoring for 8 years.
I personally plan lessons according to the individuals strengths and weaknesses, aiming to give a rounded knowledge in the key areas required. I provide homework tasks which I mark in my own time to make sure we get the content covered in the session! Always trying to pace lessons according to the student and scaffold and extend were suitable.
