I am a lifelong science enthusiast and dedicated educator with a passion for helping students understand and appreciate the fascinating world of biology, from molecular interactions to global systems. I hold two masters-level degrees: one in Human and Molecular Genetics and another in Secondary Science Education (PGCE), combining advanced scientific knowledge with proven teaching expertise. Having been tutored myself as a young boy up until A-Level, I deeply understand how impactful tutoring can be on a person's competence and confidence. I would not have achieved what I have today without the time and effort of my tutors, and this inspires me to provide the same transformative support to others.

I am a former GCSE secondary school science teacher. While I was teaching I discovered the joy in working with students on a more personalized, one-to-one basis. Sitting with students individually, often those with learning disabilities or English language difficulties, I provided customized instruction on the spot, helping them overcome challenges in engaging with the lesson and achieve success when they hadn’t thought it possible. I understand the importance of tailoring lessons to individual learning styles, no ones style should be a roadblock to success. Seeing students grow in confidence and reach their goals has always been the most rewarding part of my teaching journey.
