Being a second year Chemistry and Maths student I am of course specialising in both these subjects. I am most certainly more than capable at all topics in A Level Maths and Chemistry. I received a Gold award in Round 1 of the 2021 UK Chemistry Olympiad, as well as an offer from Cambridge.

I have tutored two students over the past 6 months, one in A Level Maths and Further Maths, the other in A Level Chemistry. Both students have told me that during their most recent mock exams, they felt most confident with those topics that I had covered in my sessions with them. I believe I make a good tutor as I genuinely enjoy my subjects, and from my experience of helping my students, as well as my classmates, with their work in Chemistry and Maths, it seems that I am capable of explaining concepts in Chemistry and Maths in an easy to digest way.

Tutoring is supplementary to being taught in school in most cases, so what I will cover will very much depend on what the student believes they struggle with in their first session with me. Lessons will focus on going through example questions on the topic at hand.

I personally studied the Edexcel curriculum for my Biology, Maths and Further Maths A Levels, and I studied the AQA curriculum for A Level Chemistry. I can of course work with other exam boards, however I'm more comfortable with those mentioned.
